Considerations: The app is intended to assist your studies, not replace deeper research, prayer, or the guidance of pastoral leadership. Other citations, contextual passages, and biblical tools may be needed to understand Scripture further. This app does not claim to be the Word of God. It includes Scripture quotations from the ESV® Bible (The Holy Bible, English Standard Version®), copyright © 2001 by Crossway to help users reflect on Scripture. While care has been taken in presenting each verse, some transcription or formatting mistakes may occur with the app functions.
Privacy: MyBibleBin works completely offline and never collects personal information. Your verses, notes, and settings stay on your device. If you choose to save an exported backup to iCloud Drive (or another location), it remains in your own account and under your control. No data is sent to any servers, and the app includes no analytics, ads, or tracking tools. Everything you do in MyBibleBin remains private and secure.
Acknowledgments: Scripture quotations are from the ESV® Bible (The Holy Bible, English Standard Version®), © 2001 by Crossway, a publishing ministry of Good News Publishers. ESV Text Edition: 2016. All rights reserved. Quotations are limited (well under 500 verses) and provided in accordance with Crossway’s published permissions guidelines. The app does not reproduce the full Bible text. For more information about the ESV, please visit esv.org. ESV® and English Standard Version® are registered trademarks of Crossway.
Backups & Restore (what users can expect): MyBibleBin uses manual, user-initiated encrypted backups. Choose “Export/Backup” to create an encrypted backup with a passcode and save it wherever you prefer. To restore, choose “Import/Restore” and select a previously saved backup. The app also reminds you about every two weeks to make a fresh backup. If iCloud Backup is enabled in iOS Settings, app data is included in full device backups. This is separate from the app’s Export/Import feature. If iCloud Backup is off, your data remains on your device unless you save exported backups elsewhere.
